DEFINITIONS
DISPATCHED:
This is the time that a Tampa vehicle was dispatched to an incident.
ADDRESS:
This is the location of the incident. Locations are in the City of Tampa and contracted areas only.
DESCRIPTION:
This is the description of the incident when it is first reported to the dispatch center of the Tampa department. It does not necessarily reflect the actual incident. This description may change after Tampa personnel arrive at the location and assess the situation.
GRID:
This is a geographic term defined by the Tampa department to identify a specific area.
INCIDENT:
This is the identifying number of each call.
CURRENT AS OF:
This is the last time that the data was updated.
NUMBER OF DISPATCHED CALLS:
This is the total number of calls dispatched from the Tampa dispatch center in the past 24 hours.
EQUIPMENT DISPATCHED:
This is the list of equipment or vehicles names and description being dispatched to the incident location.
NAVIGATION
PAGING:
Paging allows the user to navigate through the calls for service records using forward and backward arrows as well as numeric controls that allow you to move to a specific page.
  • BACKWARD/FORWARD ARROWS - Allows for navigating to the next page, previous page, first page, last page.
  • PAGE NUMBER - Allows for navigating to a specific page number.
  • PAGE SIZE - Allows for selection of how many calls for service records are to be displayed at a time on the page.
SORTING:
Sorting allows the user to arrange the calls for service records in a specific order.
  • COLUMN HEADER - Clicking a header column allows for sorting in descending, ascending or default order. The default sort is dispatched datetime descending order (list the most recent call first).
FILTERING:
Filtering allows the user to only display the calls for service records that match the entered data.
  • BY DISPATCH DATE/TIME - Allows for filtering calls for service records using a combination of datetime and conditions.
  • BY ADDRESS - Allows for filtering by a typed in address. Furthermore, if the address is hyperlinked, you can click on the hyperlink and it will display a map of the location from the Tampa Address application if a valid address is supplied. Use your browser's BACK button to return to Calls For Service listing. (For Example: 808 E. Zack Street BUILDING FIRE)
  • BY DESCRIPTION - Allows you to filter the calls for service records for a selected call description.
  • BY GRID - Allows for filtering by a typed in grid. Furthermore, if the grid is hyperlinked, you can click on the hyperlink and it will display a static map of the location of the grid with primary streets identified. Click on the X in the upper right corner of the window to return to the Current Calls for Service List. (For Example: 138)
  • BY INCIDENT - Allows for filtering by a typed in incident number.
  • CLEAR FILTERS - Removes any previously entered filter and retrieves the latest calls for service records.
LEGEND:
To Sort: Click on the column headers to sort ascending, descending or default sort
To Filter: Enter text in the textboxes below the column headers and select data or click on the filter icon
To Navigate: Select page number or scroll through pages using the paging icons for first, last, next or previous page
