The City of Tampa has over 2,600 Food Service Establishments (FSE) throughout the city’s service area that are inspected once per year by four (4) inspectors. The purpose of these grease trap/interceptor inspections is to minimize grease accumulation in the wastewater collection system in accordance with the City’s Grease Ordinance adopted in 2005.
