Hurricane Re-Entry Hang Tag Application
The City of Tampa Hurricane Re-Entry Program is for residents and businesses in the areas most likely to be evacuated during a hurricane event (within Zip Code areas: 33602, 33605, 33606, 33607, 33609, 33611, 33616, 33619, 33629 and MacDill Air Force Base 33621 shown on the map). It is designed to make it easier for residents and business representatives to re-enter the area after evacuation orders have been lifted – and to prevent gawkers and potential criminals from entering the area.
During a catastrophic hurricane event, public safety officials will screen vehicles attempting to re-enter the impacted area. In an effort to avoid long lines, the vehicle Re-Entry Hang Tag will allow public safety officials to quickly identify vehicles approved to re-enter. Those vehicles will be waved through, bypassing the normal public screening required to enter the affected area. The Re-Entry Hang Tag Program will enhance
safety and speed up the recovery process by getting residents and business representatives in - while keeping criminals out.
This service is only available if you live in or own a business in the following Zip Code areas: 33602, 33605, 33606, 33607, 33634, 33609, 33611, 33616, 33619, 33629 and MacDill Air Force Base 33621.
Note: Please allow at least 30 days to process your hurricane re-entry hang tag order. In the event of a pending hurricane to our area there may be a delay processing orders. Please note that NOT having a hurricane re-entry hang tag DOES NOT restrict you from re-entering your neighborhood after an all clear has been issued by the City of Tampa, but it will speed up your re-entry process.

Conditions & Use For Online Payment Service
City of Tampa online payment (ecommerce) services are not available during
certain hours due to normally scheduled maintenance activities according to the
schedule below. If your business transaction has a due date associated with it,
it is your responsibility to ensure that your payment is made by that due date.
Delays caused by unavailability of any online service DO NOT warrant the
reversal of late fees, as payments may also be made by other means, such as
postal mail and walk-in during normal business hours.
At present, we accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, and American Express only. After completing your payment,
you will be presented with an online receipt to print for your records. If you
provide a valid email address, you will also receive a receipt via email. Your
payment will be processed at the close of the current business day, except for
weekends, holidays or after 9:00 pm, in which case your payment will be
processed at the end of the next business day.
Your online payment transactions are supported by industry-standard data
encryption available through your browser called SSL encryption. These
services are designed to ensure the privacy of your credit card information,
name, address, email and other information you provide to us.
