How to Submit a Service Request
Use Tampa Connect to report an issue or request a City service. Start by choosing the type of request, then complete the five steps below.

Select Service Request Type
Find the service you need using either option:
- Option 1: Enter a keyword or topic in the search box.
- Option 2: Select a service area from the list of categories.
Click Request this Service.

Step 1: Enter Location
- Option 1: Enter the address for the service request location.
- Option 2: Click on the map to select the associated location.
Click Continue.
Step 1: Search for an address or pick a spot on the map.

Step 2: Contact
Enter your contact information to receive updates on the status of your request.
Click Continue.
Step 2: Provide your name, email, and phone number.

Step 3: Details
Answer the questions related to your service request so it is directed to the appropriate department.
Click Continue.
Step 3: Questions change based on the type of request you selected.

Step 4: File Upload
Optional: Upload a picture or file that supports your request.
Click Continue.
Step 4: Adding a photo is optional.

Step 5: Review
Verify the service request details.
Click Submit Request or Register and Submit.
Step 5: Check your details, then submit.
FAQ
When you submit a Service Request and provide an email address, a confirmation email will be
generated and sent to that email address.
A Tampa Connect account is not required to submit a Service Request, but if you have created an
account but cannot access it, you can reset your password. If you still are not able to access it, please
contact 813-274-8211.
To review the status of a submitted Service Request, use the service request number from the confirmation email
and enter it into the search box on Tampa Connect. The most recent status will be displayed.
No. A document/photo/video is not required to submit a Service Request. Just click “Continue” to
move to the next step. However, providing a supporting document/photo/video may be useful to
quickly resolve your issue.
Noise complaint (animal and loud music/non-animal noise) Service Requests have specific
guidelines and requirements for submissions. Click

While no changes can be made to your original request, if your request is still open, you can reply to
the email to update information. If you created a Tampa Connect account, documents/photos/videos
can be uploaded to update the service request.
The email received upon submission will have the estimated resolution date, that varies by Service
Request department. If that time has been exceeded, you can call the appropriate department, via the
phone number found on the City’s department webpage.
You can use a service request that is similar to what you are looking for and it will be routed to the
correct area or you can search on
www.tampagov.net to find the appropriate department for additional
information and how to contact.
On the Tampa Connect page, at the very bottom is a link to a map. You can search the location to see if
someone has already input the request (i.e. pothole, traffic signal issue, etc).
When you select a Service Request, the estimated resolution time is provided. Resolution time
estimates vary depending on the Service Request.
