Use this service to obtain a Special Needs Shelter form. Forms must be filled out and submitted to Hillsborough County prior to June 1 each year or they will not guarantee placement in a special needs shelter. A special needs shelter is a temporary emergency facility capable of providing care to residents whose medical condition is such that it exceeds the capabilities of the Red Cross Shelter but is not severe enough to require hospitalization.
